I’m on
a roll!
I passed
48,000 words, took time to read through what’s already finished, looked through
the rest of my remaining hand-written notes, and I’ve passed the halfway mark
on Slipped Masks.
It’s
only the first draft, but knowing I’m over the midway point still feels great:
the story has come to life and has that momentum like it’s writing itself.
The
rest of the book is now a steady glide downhill to the finish.
So far
in the story: Casey, about to destroy the lives of others, remembered the
turning point in his childhood; a combination of horrific events that set him
on the road to chaos.
Time to
get on with the next chapter.
